"Empowering Our Youth"
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities
In every community, boys and girls are struggling to create a bright future. Violence, substance abuse, low fitness levels, low self-esteem and high dropout rates are impairing our childrens ability to succeed. Young people need to know that someone cares about them and their future. Boys & Girls Clubs offer that and more.

With over 1000 served daily in the Twin Cities, Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow all while having fun.

Carolina volunteers at the West Side Boys & Girls Club. Most of her family grew up in this area so it was a perfect match! She helps lead specific programs through two of their five core areas, Character & Leadership and Education & Career. She is able to teach the personal development lessons that she has learned so youth can tackle the challenges they face in life. She accomplishes this by teaching skills and projects like "dream boards," goal-setting, visualization and autosuggestion.

If you would like Carolina to be part of your special event and speak at any club or meeting, pleaseContact our Office to reserve her for your scheduled dates. We look forward to making your next meeting or event a successful and enjoyable one.

Carolina Reyes is proud to be MISS MINNESOTA INTERNATIONAL 2010, and hopes to encourage young women throughout the state"To Make a Difference", and participate in their communities and this worthwhile event.
